Savernake, Bishops Stortford
For our client’s pool house, Skrib Studios designed an indoor pool with changing rooms, an MEP store, an internal seating area, and a spacious external terrace. Inspired by Scandinavian design, we used black timber cladding and contrasting cedar strips to create a simple yet elegant aesthetic. Large recessed spaces form a sheltered terrace, while the entrance is highlighted by the warm cedar, standing out against the black timber to create a striking focal point. The result is a sleek, functional space that blends natural materials with refined design.
Cafe Coho, Brighton
For the Café Coho project, we began by understanding the client’s unique aspirations for a pop-up coffee shop to enhance the visitor experience at Churchill Square.
We developed initial concepts that embraced an industrial styling theme, creating 3D visuals that showcased polished concrete, an RSJ beam, brass accents, and wood for a warm, contemporary atmosphere. We maximised functionality within the size constraints of 5m x 2m, incorporating suspended seating for up to eight customers at the brew bar while ensuring safety by attaching the seating to the unit.
The result is Café Coho, a pop-up coffee bar that enhances the visitor experience in the heart of Churchill Square.
Rues Des Parcs, Pepieux
For our client in France, Skrib Studios was tasked with transforming an unused garage and large storage area attached to the main house. The client envisioned creating a gîte, a wine cellar, and a utility room within the space. We developed a range of design options, balancing functionality with aesthetic appeal, to ensure the new spaces would enhance both the practicality and charm of the property. As a work-in-progress project, we continue refining the designs to meet the client’s vision, blending local character with modern living solutions.
